Flexible
Free cancellations and changes up to 24 hours before departure. Full refund to original payment method.
Standard
Changes and cancellations incur a fee. Refunds are typically issued as travel credit, not cash.
Basic / Saver
No cancellations or changes permitted after the 24-hour risk-free window. Some airlines offer paid upgrades to add flexibility.
24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation
Many airlines offer a 24-hour risk-free cancellation policy. If you cancel within 24 hours of booking (provided your departure is at least 7 days away), you may be eligible for a full refund regardless of fare type. This policy varies by airline and is not guaranteed for all bookings.
How to Cancel or Change a Booking

Refund Processing Times
Once a cancellation is approved by the airline, refunds are typically processed within:
- Credit cards: 7–14 business days
- Debit cards: 5–10 business days
- Travel credit/vouchers: issued immediately upon cancellation
Some airlines may take longer to process refunds during peak travel periods.
Flight Disruptions
If your flight is cancelled or significantly delayed by the airline, you are generally entitled to:
- A full refund to your original payment method
- Alternative rebooking on the next available flight at no additional cost
- In some jurisdictions, additional compensation for long delays
